Rendered elevation drawing with color of an Italianate residence located on Bashford Manor Ln. in Louisville, Ky. Designed circa 1867 for Robert J. Elliott, the home featured a large octagonal tower and attached greenhouse. The drawing is attributed to John Andrewartha of the firm Stancliff & Andrewartha. Andrewartha was a prominent Louisville architect during the 1870s whose partnership with Charles Lee Stancliff dissolved while working on the residence for Elliott. In addition to being a private residence, the building has housed the Louisville Military Academy and Tharp University School. The building is no longer standing.
