Filson Event Venue Rentals

The Filson Historical Society is a unique venue that blends the historic with the modern and provides a stunning background for any event. Several areas of the campus are available to be rented for dinners, retreats, meetings, receptions, parties, or weddings.  The venues have access to free parking and wifi, as well as small catering areas. All The Filson’s facilities are handicap accessible.

Spaces Available to Rent

The Dan and Frances Street Hall: Capacity: 175 seated theater style, 120 banquet style, 180 cocktail reception style

        

Caperton Hall: Capacity: 140 seated theater style, 128 banquet style, 190 cocktail reception style

       

The Owsley Brown II History Center Event Wing: This includes Caperton Hall and Street Hall and the atrium staircase connecting the two.

         

Ferguson Mansion First Floor: Capacity: 48 banquet style, 100 cocktail reception style

     

Carriage House First Floor: This includes access to the Carriage House Exhibit Gallery.
Capacity: 125 cocktail reception style
