Biographical Note 

Frank E. Wrenick was born in February 1939 in Evanston, Illinois. In 1965, he married Elaine Virginia Walworth. In 2006, Wrenick published The Streamline Era Greyhound Terminals: The Architecture of W.S. Arrasmith. In 2016, Frank and Elaine Wrenick together published Automobile Manufacturers of Cleveland and Ohio, 1864-1942. The couple reside in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.   

Scope and Content Note 

This collection includes material related to Frank Wrenick’s work researching and writing about the career of architect William Strudwick “Arra” Arrasmith, particularly related to his work on Greyhound bus terminals from the late 1930s to the late 1950s. Material throughout the collection relates to Arrasmith and some of his associates’ careers, and Greyhound bus stations throughout the eastern portion of the United States.  Oral histories of family, friends, and colleagues of Arrasmith are on audio cassettes and likely correspond with transcripts in folder 41. People interviewed include Elizabeth Arrasmith (wife), Anne Arrasmith-Lewis (daughter), Edward Baldwin (associate), Stratton Hammon (friend), Arnold Judd (partner), Mr. Rapp (partner), and Cornelius Hubbuch (friend).
