Content
This collection documents the personal lives and business pursuits of the Lindsey and Weisiger families of Frankfort, Kentucky. Also included is a handwritten account of the 1865 murder of five Confederate prisoners by Capt. Benjamin F. Blankenship's company of the Three Forks Battalion. (Note: This information was apparently collected by Kentucky Adjutant General Daniel W. Lindsey while preparing the publication of the two volume Report of the Adjutant General of the State of Kentucky, 1861-1866.)
