Morris' pledge of parole of honor to place himself under the special charge and supervision of A.G. Munn at the hq. of the Provost Guard in Lou. KY. Pledge places Morris under house arrest and requires him to "neither give and or comfort. . . to those who are now or may here after be in rebellon against the Government of the United States."
