The collection consists of papers relating to members of the Carter and Hodges families of Greensburg, Kentucky. Included is a memory and autograph book of Catherine Carter while a student at Science Hill Female Academy in the early 1850s. The book contains verse, inscriptions, and remembrances from fellow students and the academy’s founder Julia Tevis (folder 1).
