Papers include accounts with Louisville and Brandenburg stores; bills of sale, 1820-1835, for slaves traded by the Buckner family; correspondence, 1882-1941, about Civil War events near Brandenburg and Irvington, Ky.; a journal, 1862-1867, kept by a teenage girl living in Brandenburg, recording local news, especially during the Civil War; and genealogical information.
