Scope and Content Note
Family papers of the Allen and Kenney families. Consists mostly of correspondence. Also includes the accounts, stud book, and address book of Joseph S. Kenney, and various invitations and programs. Calling cards, miscellaneous printed material, and some photographs are included in the collection. Subjects covered include agriculture, horse breeding, and social life in Kentucky and Tennessee.
