Scope and Content Note 

Papers include correspondence regarding business and family matters, the Jennie Casseday Rest Cottage, and the Louisville Free Kindergarten Association; and a map of Lakeland, Fla., 1884. 

Also included are the papers of William Garnett Munn (1855-1948), Louisville manufacturer and son of Abraham Munn, containing routine correspondence and an 1889 stock certificate for the Pewee Valley Hotel Co. 

Collection also includes Louisville Fire Dept. reports for 1909. 

Correspondents include Bishop Thomas U. Dudley, Andrew Cowan, Augustus E. Willson, and others 

Biographical Note 

1819 Born in Orange, N. J. 

1838 Moved to Louisville. 

1844 Started his own seed and agricultural store. 

1844 Married Rebecca Morton. 

1855-1866 Ran Munn & Co. which produced agricultural implements. 

1866 Moved back to N. J. 

1882 Became president of Brennan & Co. 

1909 Died
