Hunting Down History at The Filson

Are you looking for something different to do on these hot summer afternoons? Are you interested in learning the history of Louisville while exploring your community? If so, Hunting Down History is the event for you. This photo scavenger hunt takes participants all over Louisville in a race against time to discover answers to as many clues as you can.

Hunting Down History will start at The Filson at 4:00 pm on June 22. Teams of up to five members will arrive at The Filson, be given rules to the hunt and the clues, and be sent on their way to decipher, answer, and photograph as many as they can. Teams are asked to return to The Filson by 6:00 pm, where staff will tally points and award prizes as participants enjoy spirits, snacks and drinks.

Hunting Down History is $10 for Filson members and $15 for non-members. All ages are welcome, and each team must have one driver. A variety of prizes from local businesses and organizations will be awarded. We hope that you, your friends, and loved ones will join us for a fun afternoon in Louisville!
